MG Jesta WIP Part 1 -> Unboxing and Building Inner frame

After a while Iam able to continue on my Gunpla blog, so many news, so many new tools and mainly so many new experiences. This year was just too fast, mainly wedding and then flat changing took me most of my free time. But family is always first right, Iam so happy now for all things what happened to me. But back to Gunpla xD

I received this Master Grade from my lovely Wife as a gift just like that, some time ago, ehm actually in June xD I talked with my Wife about some kits and some time later, booom, my Wife giving me with smile on her face this nice MG. My Wife is the very best, I love her so much. After I bought my first Airbrush, compressor, spray booth and some other tools for Airbrushing my gunplas I wanted to try brushing for first time. But after my first Airbrushing I decide that I definitelly need some sort of protection. All dangerous paint-particles flitted all around my room and when I saw that I was like: I must solve this problem. So I bought my protection combo: SPRAY BOOTH and AIRBRUSH MASK. I always hate idea that I must buy something that I can build with my own hands. WIP with my RG Wing Zero EW, Inner Frame done. I left out priming, because I did not want unnecessarily thick Inner Frame. I want to preserve Inner Frame to be moveable and thin. I used Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver as base color with two thin coats and one coat of pledge Floor Care as a top coat with additional protection. Pretty happy with the results xD

I bought this unit because some time ago my Wife bought me MG Jesta and this mobile suit have opportunity to install Led unit. So, why nope, lets try some leds. Decal application with Mr. Mark Softer & Setter

After I ordered some Decals from Amazon and SamuelDecal I wanted to try them for first time of course. This is not the best way how to do it, or tutorial how to applying them in best way. Just want to share my experience with Decal application for first time with you guys. Of course before first try I check various sources and choose optimal way for me xD Hope you guys enjoy my first acquaintance with decals xD For the vision I added bellow completed model before and after decal application, such a difference xD

My hunt for adding more and more details on my kits led me to stickers / decals applying. I tried foils stickers and regular transparent stickers, which are included with most of RG and MG kits and I must say that I really hate them xD Application is easy but final look is terrible, hate visible edges and overall look of regullar stickers. After all that I searched on web and I figured out that I have another option - Decals xD But instantly after that I came up to that not all kits have original alternative from Bandai. More googling after I found recourse - samueldecal.

How to make base painting stick stand for your gunpla

I decide to made this base for Alligator sticks after some painting and panel-linings for my Gundams. I figured out that pieces which I work with needs some organized place for resting and for drying. I searched about bases on internet and shops, but after some time I decided to made mine own Base Painting Stick Stand, which fits my imagination xD Next picture showing us what exactly I talking about xD

How to make your own Alligator Clip Painting Sticks

After watching some paintings, panel-linings and some custom works on Gundams I decide that I must have same accessories for sure xD One of this things are  Alligator Clip a.k.a. Painting Sticks for gripping your parts without touching them with hands of fingers. So I slowly searched for all necessary components for this build xD I just ordered some nice looking Alligator Clips (25 pieces, 4 Eur) and bought Barbecue sticks from my local shop (25 pieces, 3Eur), everything cost me only 7 Eur for 25 pieces. For my Alligator Clips-style we will also need some tape.

Review of SHARPIE MARKERS as Gundam markers

After some time with Gunpla models I decide to make my Gundams even more detailed. Later I want to buy paints itself, but for now I wanted to try something different. Gundam markers are great for adding little details to your Gundams. I found some nice pictures on Instagram with some nice metallic details, so I asked which style of painting are used on model. I figured out, that models are simply painted with gundam markers, but in this case with Sharpie metallic markers. Regullar gundam markers are hard to get in my country, so I wanted to buy sharpie ones xD Actually, this ones was a birthday gift from my mother's fiancee, but everyone knows whose idea it was xD

Gunpla Lamp a.k.a. Taotronics TT-DL 09 Led lamp, lighting matters

After one week holiday I want to share some news. I was in Slovakia with my lovely fiancee and we dealt with things about weddings. Fatigue, no sleep, no energy, but it's all worth it because we love each other so much xD Actually at the same time I had birthday and I received some new gunpla gears xD One big gift from my lovely fiancee was this Taotronics Led Desk Lamp with extra large flat light source made exactly for people who need a lot of light for crafting xD My fiancee bought this lamp for me probably because I have spoken very often than I need more light  for details xD Thank You my love for this lamp and for everything what you do for me I love You so much. Cant wait for Our big day.

Tamiya Panel Line Accent Colour Review

PANEL-LINING

Before we start with everything I just want to say why I wrote this article and what about panel-lining actually is about. Next picture speaks for itself xD

After some Snap-build kits I decide to make some more for my kits, just adding some details and make some better look. After some searching on web I decide to start with Panellining. I dont like markers, so I searched for another possibilities. I like Enamel paint possibility, but with number of things which I should buy I choosed another possibility. Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color won this game xD Before I used this paint for first time I searched for some informations, but after trying this product with my own hands I came for something else xD

Bandai Action Base 02 Unboxing / Review

Quess what waited for me before my doors when I woke up after night night shift ? xD Ladies and gentelman, after long time finally Bandai Action Base 02 came to its rightful owner xD After shreding box like a Wolverine I saw packaging for first time. I ordered it from AMAZON.DE for something about 4 Eur, very welcoming price, only problem for me is waiting time (cca 30 days). Reasons for buying ? After some RG/HG builds I decided to try some more possibilities of posing.

HG DOM R35

I received this amazing kit as a Christmas Gift from my lovely fiancee, at first I must say thank you to my love, I always want to have and build this kit xD When I first saw this Gundam in Build Fighters Series I was very impressed.  Mr. Ral show us his best xD Close combat Gundam type with two multipurpose shields, trusters and claws everywhere xD I just love Gundams with two or more shields xD

BOX PREVIEW

Very nice front print from HG Build Fighters. As usually HG Logo with Build Fighters addition, main title DOM R35 with informations about pilot and grade (1/144). And we cant forget to BANDAI logo xD

Very nice front and rear real pictures with some specs and story. Types of plastic are PS and PE and price is 1800 Yen, this is the most important informations for me xD

Different poses possibilities with some detailed informations about movement and some Build Fighters picture with Amazing Red Warrior xD

Number 039 in Build Fighters series said us, that we dont have previous 38 kits xD

RUNNERS PREVIEW

Ten runners with two shades of blue, white, transparent and grey colour. One foil sticker sheet dont tell us nothing good xD. RUNNER A in darker blue colur with some outer armor parts.

RUNNERs B1 and B2 has very lovely light blue colur, my favourite colour in this kit xD Outer armor parts, hands, feet, etc etc xD

RUNNERS C1 and C2 in grey with some inner parts, trusters and many more interesting parts xD

RUNNER D a.k.a. my favoutite runner with my favourite colour xD Some shoulder and foot parts I think xD

RUNNER E, sorry when I sad that Runner D is my favourite, sooo I told You lie xD Shield spikeeeeeks xD Cant wait to build this shields xD

RUNNER G, RUNNER F and polycap PC-002 in transparent, white and grey colour xD Smallest runner I ever saw, I mean look at this tiny transparent piece xD White parts will make nice colour separation and Polycap runner is for, ehm you know for what xD

FOIL STICKER SHEET, ahh I hate stickers, I mean stickers for eye or little details is good, but  look at this huge blue stickers, embarrassing xD

MANUAL, what to say, usuall folding manual for High Grade with very nice Build Fighters design.

I had to make this photo, this double page is so nice, look at all poses xD I cant wait to start build this kit!

ASSEMBLING

After some Real Grade builds this will be a welcome change for me. Assembly process start with torso, than shoulders, head, hands, foots, waist and my favourite mutlipurpose shields xD

BODY

When I start build this torso I was impressed how big this parts actually are xD After RG builds whis was shock for me xD Two shades of blue, grey and white parts may not be absent xD

What?! Trusters on the front ?! Hell Yeah baby xD I like this Gundam already xD Like the white pipes around head, Zaku look xD

BACK BODY TRUSTERS

Trusters even in this phaze of the build? Wait, that was second trusters ? Trusters everywhere xD Ehm, I applied some grey stickers and snapped together everything xD

Final Back Body Trusters looks nice, but after all, we have no movement in the back xD Like the small piece between trusters, seems to be for something like hook xD

SHOULDERS

Shoulder contains only with four parts, fits fogether pretty well and after that, we get some pretty decent looking shoulder. Like a little blue colour separation in the bottom part.

This design works for me, Shape of this shoulder reminds me something like dragon ball with robocop together xD

HEAD

Six tiny parts give us opportunity to made head of  DOM with our hands xD Inner grey parts, which one is for monoeye holding, antenna, main head part and my favourite clear head part.

Building process - stick together grey inner parts - apply little pink sticker for monoeye - join together main part of head and clear part - make three different pictures from variuos angles for gundam fans xD

In the end not too much movement, but what, design of head rock this Gundam xD When we want to move with monoeye, we must disassembly head, move monoeye and assembly head back, Ehm I think that I let monoeye on same position xD

ARM

Holy hell, so much part ? Just kidding xD Same colours as with previous, wait, Iam sorry guys, we have here some white parts for claws xD Actually hands are pretty detailed and ready for some panellining xD

Double elbow joint always made me smile xD Movement possibilities are good, claws works fine and I know what for is Little grey hole (devil smile again xD).

We get one pair of standard fist hands and one left open hand. Actually this hands are pretty big and well-detailded.

Both of hands looks nice attached to chest, mobility is decend and everything seems to be pretty stabil.

LEG

Leg contains with many differend parts. We have here really big parts and really small parts xD

Some nice details of bottom of the leg, some grey inner parts, white claws, and everything elese is outer armor with two shades of blue.

Easy snap-fit give us three foot parts. Lower leg is actually one piece, nothing moveable here xD Middle part of foot have some nice colour separation with nice moveable white claws.  Upper leg parts have double joint with some inner greyish parts.

I never thought that this Foot will be so bulky xD I mean, look at the size of this think, omg xD

Some collage here from different angles. We can see open claws here, some truster movement and movement possibilities of foot.

WAIST, WAIST TRUSTERS

Blue outweigh colour here, some grey moveable inner frame parts, very nice front waist armor and some polycaps. That are parts of last body part of our DOM R35.

Differen points of view of R35 Waist, Front and side parts are moveable and after changing position they hold their new position. Main back parts does not move, but trusters move a lot xD Like this feature xD

WEAPONS - DOUBLE MULTIPURPOSE SHIELDS

Definitelly my favourite part of this build! Look at his spikes and shapes of every part xD Cant wait to assembly this weapon xD

 Hell Yeah Baby xD Ok, this is my favourite shield so far, close range shields with spikes and even gun ? Yeah, definitelly my favourite shield! Pictures show us fifferend possibilities how to use this shield. Two handles from both sides, side light grey parts are moveable and whole shield is moveable at the centre. Lets make some photos with R35 together, cant wait xD

PROS AND CONS, MY THOUGHTS

+ Design of this gundam is just beautyful

+ White parts makes a huge difference

+ Color separation is great

+ Shield and trusters design

+ Movement of shirt plates and torso

+ Fast and enjoyable build

+ Possibilities of shield posing
+ Shield attachment on hand is really really secure and tight

- Ball joint on lower leg is kinda weak and cant hold whole weight of this Gundam 

- Movement of whole Gundam is very limited, but its cost of bulky design

- Trusters are almost unmovable, except back waist trusters and foot trusters

- All stickers, except monoeye

- When you pose hand with shield too high, balljoint on arm have problems with holding such a      weight

- When you want to change monoeye position, first you must disassembly head
